Sonata No. 5, Op. 53
Aidan Mikdad (Amsterdam, 19 November 2001) is a Dutch classical pianist.
At 14, he won the first prize of the Premio Internazionale Pianistico “A. Scriabin” for pianists up to 35 years of age, which was held from February 23rd-28th in Grosseto (Italy). In 2015, he won the Klavier-Festival Ruhr Scholarship that was awarded to him by pianist Hélène Grimaud. In 2014, he won the first prize of the International Piano Competition of Lagny-sur-Marne. At 11 (in 2013), he won the first prize of the Koninklijk Concertgebouw Competition.
He studies with Mila Baslawskaja at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.
