We are proud to announce that Aidan Mikdad (15) has been invited to participate in the Verbier Festival Academy. It is a great honour  to be part of the academy for a second year in a row. The Verbier Festival Academy is part of the Verbier Festival, which will take -place from July 18 – August 6 2017 in Switzerland. Aidan’s participation includes masterclasses with Sergei Babayan, Richard Goode, Klaus Hellwig, Ferenc Rados &  András Schiff, a solo & a chamber music performance.
Last year,  Aidan received the Tabor Foundation Piano Award from the Verbier Festival as a recognition of his potential and as an investment in his promise.

Aidan Mikdad has received the Tabor Foundation Piano Award from the Verbier Festival as a recognition of his potential and as an investment in his promise. Last Summer, the Verbier Festival Academy has invited him to participate as student-in-residence. This is an exceptional honour and testifies to the high level of playing Aidan has attained at such a young age. The Academy is part of the Verbier Festival. Aidan’s participation included masterclasses in Piano with Klaus Hellwig and Sergei Babayan, and a solo performance. In addition, he followed chamber music masterclasses with Pamela Frank and Gábor Takács-Nagy.
